Chicken & broccoli timbales that make a delicious lunch or dinner. Served with mashed potato and a pepper sauce, this soft meal is aligned with IDDSI level 7. 

BirdsEye Soft Meals are created using ‘timbales’, named after a French cooking technique of shaping foods and made by mixing food purees with egg, starch and spices.

Birds Eye Soft Meals are developed to be a suitable consistency for those at IDDSI level 7 (Easy to Chew), but they can also be adapted for IDDSI levels 4, 5 and 6 by following just a few simple steps. Click Here to find out more.

Cooking Method 1

Pre heat the oven to 180ºC/ Fan 160ºC/ Gas 4, cook for 35 minutes. Do not pierce or remove the film lid.  Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven.  Cook for the required time.  CAUTION! WHEN REMOVING THE FILM LID HOT STEAM MAY ESCAPE. CONTENTS WILL BE VERY HOT. If a skin develops remove it as necessary for your condition.

 

Cooking Method 2

Remove the outer packaging. Do not pierce or remove the film lid. Microwave on FULL POWER for:

Please ensure food is cooked until piping hot.
