BirdsEye Soft Meals are created using ‘timbales’, named after a French cooking technique of shaping foods and made by mixing food purees with egg, starch and spices.

Mashed Potato (34%) (Potato, Water, Whole MILK Powder, Rapeseed Oil, Butter (MILK), EGG Yolk Powder, Black Pepper), Mustard Sauce (Water, Cream (MILK), Skimmed MILK Powder, Dijon MUSTARD, Butter (MILK), MUSTARD, Cornflour, WHEAT Starch, Vegetable Stock, Salt, Sugar, Spices), Salmon Timbale (23%) (Salmon (FISH), Alaska Pollock (FISH), Water, Rapeseed Oil, Thickener (Modified Maize Starch), EGG Yolk Powder, EGG White Powder, Tomato Paste, Salt, FISH Powder, Cornflour, Onion Powder, Sunflower Oil, Bay Leaf, Black Pepper), Pea Timbale (12%) (Peas, Rapeseed Oil, Water, EGG White Powder, Thickener (Modified Maize Starch), EGG Yolk Powder, Salt, Onion Powder, White Pepper). 

 

Cooking Method 1

Pre heat the oven to 180ºC/ Fan 160ºC/ Gas 4, cook for 35 minutes. Do not pierce or remove the film lid.  Place on a baking tray in the middle of the oven.  Cook for the required time. 

CAUTION! WHEN REMOVING THE FILM LID HOT STEAM MAY ESCAPE. CONTENTS WILL BE VERY HOT.

Food should be consumed soon after cooking to avoid skin generation. If a skin develops remove it as necessary for your condition.

Cooking Method 2

Remove the outer packaging. Do not pierce or remove the film lid. Microwave on FULL POWER for:
